About 23 centuries ago Aristotle
concluded that more than anything else human beings seek happiness.
Quite a few things have changed in this world since Aristotle's time,
yet many argue that we haven't made much progress in the happiness department
since then. Last month there was a major breakthrough in mankind's age-old
happiness paradox. It has been discovered that true happiness lies in
combining motorcycles and bicycles into one road trip.
Get your white gear, your chick, and throw some neon into the mix, Aaron Chase is back with his 2nd Annual Crankworx throw down fundraiser, the Bright as Night Party.
I've always had a special place in my heart for Mt Snow, Vermont. It's
where I road tripped up to watch my first pro NORBA race, long before I
could drive a car. It's where all the pictures in my dad's old
magazine stacks came to life, and it's where I started my autograph
collection. It's where I met a skinny 15-year-old kid named Aaron
Chase bunny hopping picnic tables, and it's where I decided that I
wanted to be a pro mountain biker. It's where I traded a few t-shirts
and a case of beer for a re-welded bike rack on my camper van my rookie
pro season. It's the oldest running stop on the NORBA circuit and so
many legendary events in our sport have happened there, so needless to
say I was a little nostalgic when I learned that this would be the last
year our National Championships would be held there.
So I figured that since it is the end of July I should send a quick update to everyone...it has been a busy year so far so I apologize for the long update.
This morning I left Berlin for a little alpes trip and the adidas Slopestyle. Besides fresh underwear I had my brand new Perp in the luggage. Its hot and I am running it in the full stars and stripes style. I do love america! I try to get more detailed shots of the bike soon.
