NYC Bike Tour to Benefit MS: Oct. 14, 2007
A debilitating disease known as Multiple Sclerosis (MS) affects nearly 400,000 Americans. This illness drastically varies from one individual to another, as does the treatment possibilities, yet there is no cure for MS. The research is never ending and potential treatments, and a cure, are on the verge of discovery. The awareness is there and great events such as the NYC MS Bike Tour help raise the much needed money to fund the research, treatments, and the education of the public. This year over 2.6 million dollars was raised by this event to aid in the battle against MS.

Life's Priorities: Training, Riding & Giving Back
...When I did make the decision to tackle a full-ironman tri, I also realized that I needed to do two things: to get more serious about my training as well as get myself a proper bicycle. During the last half-ironman, my legs felt flat towards the middle of the run. While this points to a shortcoming in my training plan, I also knew it was due in part to an inadequate bike setup.
