Cannondale Factory Racing team rider Kazuhiro Yamamoto placed fourth among the best of Japan’s elite riders in Fujimi, Nagano, Japan, posting a significant improvement over last year’s nineteenth place time in the same race.

CFR's Roel Paulissen Confirms His Fine Marathon Form With Italian Win

Cannondale Factory Racing’s Roel Paulissen confirmed his abilities in the Marathon distance as well as his improving form by winning the Gunn Rita Marathon in Montello, Italy. Meanwhile, Martin Gujan came directly from his training camp to the Racer Bikes Cup in Engelberg, Switzerland and finished 4th.

Nibali Scores First Win of 2009

Team Liquigas' Vincenzo Nibali showed his good form prior to this weekend's Italian National Road Championships with an impressive win at Wednesday's Giro dell'Appenino. Nibali attacked on the final climb of the race to distance himself from an elite remaining group to take the prestigious pre-Tour de France race, his first of the season.

Test of Endurance 50 MTB Race

Once again Ripley turned out a "Believe It or Not" course with over 9000 feet of climbing in a great 50 mile mountain bike course.  There was plenty of tight singletrack snaking through the dense ferns and mossy Oregon Coast Range forest to offset the gravel road climbing.  Check out the Garmin file on MotionBased - ouch.
