Tim Johnson - USGP and the Perfect Winning Storm

West Windsor, NJ. - The premier cyclocross series along with powerful thunderstorms rolled into New Jersey with race number three and four of the US Gran Prix of Cyclocross presented by Crankbrothers at the Mercer Cup presented by Knapp’s Cyclery in Mercer County Park.

Our very own, Tim Johnson (Cannondale/Cyclocrossworld.com) proved to be the fastest man in the field at the third round race with a convincing muddy Mercer Cup victory. Tim Johnson finished ahead of two-time US Olympian Todd Wells (GT) and 2008 USGP winner Ryan Trebon (KONA).

Johnson's third round win moved him into the top position of the lead with 120 points, 14 points ahead of Anthony (106) and 22 points ahead of Jeremy Powers (98).

The racing will continue today.
