26 October 2007, stage 1 of the Tour de Faso. A 10 day stage race in Burkina Faso, Africa. Going here was a big excitement. We went with 6 riders who were all looking for adventure. We went to Burkina Faso a few days before the start of the race to get adjusted to the circumstances. Unfortunately we found out pretty quick that there is no adjustment to racing in the hot African wind. It feels like being on a home trainer in a sauna.

World Cup Bronze for Argentinian Madison Team!
With twelve points and a winning final sprint, Cannondale-sponsored
Madison riders Sebastián Danadio and Jorge Pi took a surprise bronze
medal in the first round of the UCI Track World Cup, held November 19th
in Sydney, Australia.

Joost Wichman: European 4 Cross Champ!
In the last week of July the European 4x champs took place in Stollberg, Germany. Cannondale-sponsored Jurg Meijer and Joost Wichman both qualified for this race due to their good results in the World Cups. Even though Joost had appendix surgery just three weeks prior, they both felt strong going into the race.

UC Bergamasca's ex Italian Junior National Champion, Luca Barla,
recently won the Under 23 Montisola nel Bresciano, an 11.6 kilometer
time trial.
